GlobalGiving Brand Audit

The aim of this project is to enhance GlobalGiving’s brand identity and online presence by implementing a more cohesive and friendly design. This transformation focuses on refining the color palette, typography, and imagery to better resonate with the organization’s mission of facilitating community-led change. By fostering an inviting atmosphere through design, we intend to inspire greater donor engagement and reinforce GlobalGiving's commitment to supporting reliable, locally-led initiatives across the globe.

COMPARISON

The proposed changes to the social media strategy will focus on establishing a consistent and approachable visual identity across all platforms by adopting a vibrant color palette of pinks and motivational oranges that reflect the brand’s values of compassion and positivity. The UI will be overhauled with Vollkorn for headings and Source Sans for body text, creating a cleaner, contemporary look that enhances readability and aligns with the friendly tone. Additionally, social media posts will feature high-quality imagery to improve engagement and more effectively convey the organization’s impactful work.

The revised color scheme will transition from a cluttered five-color palette to a streamlined selection of two primary colors and a range of grays for secondary elements. The new colors (#FF18A3, #F84DAE, #FE5E9E, #FF6823, and #FF8348) evoke warmth and motivation, while the grays provide modern contrast. This focused approach not only enhances brand recognition but also promotes an inviting and supportive environment for potential donors and partners, ultimately fostering a deeper connection with the community.

3D Interactive Packaging

Incorporating an interactive 3D packaging design, the new care packages will serve as both a functional resource and a visual representation of GlobalGiving’s mission. These packages will include essential items such as dry food, water, and utility tools, all designed with a low-opacity gradient that reflects the updated color scheme. The 3D aspect adds an engaging layer, encouraging community involvement by allowing donors to see and feel the impact of their contributions. This innovative packaging not only enhances the brand's aesthetic but also communicates a sense of compassion.
